A lighthearted, joy filled session with two sisters who now live far apart but remain deeply connected. With the golden sunset at Vinoy Park casting a warm glow, this shoot became a celebration of sisterhood, shared memories, and the kind of bond that distance can’t dim.

We captured the laughter, the tenderness, and the unspoken understanding between them. As a tribute to their shared history, Haylee brought their great-great-grandmother’s cowboy hat, a beautifully preserved heirloom passed down through generations. It was more than just a prop; it was a piece of their childhood, their roots, and a reminder of the legacy they carry with them, connecting past and present in a way that felt both grounding and joyful.

As an older sister who lives miles away from my own, I was delighted to be part of this moment! And yes, after hearing the story and feeling the weight of the hat’s meaning, I couldn’t resist taking a photo with it myself.
